Official Contest Rules
PREVIEW PERIOD NOTICE
These rules apply to KLAVO's FREE-ENTRY contests during the preview period. No entry fee is collected. No payment information is required. KLAVO has not yet completed outside-counsel review of these pages; updated final-form versions will be published before any paid contest opens.
KLAVO Official Contest Rules — Free-Preview Period
These Official Contest Rules ("Rules") govern entry into KLAVO's free-entry contests during the Preview Period. Operator: NorthFork Funding, Inc., a Wyoming corporation doing business as KLAVO. By entering, you agree to these Rules.
1. No purchase or payment necessary
During the Preview Period, KLAVO contests are FREE TO ENTER. No purchase necessary, no entry fee, no payment information required. The contest is skill-based; chance plays no role in determining the winner.
2. Eligibility
Open to legal U.S. residents 18 or older as of entry. NOT eligible: Colorado (CO), Maryland (MD), Nebraska (NE), North Dakota (ND), Vermont (VT), New Jersey (NJ), Tennessee (TN). Employees, contractors, and immediate family of NorthFork Funding, Inc. and contest administrators are not eligible. Void where prohibited.
3. How to enter
To enter: (a) visit klavo.co; (b) go to the current contest page; (c) provide your name, email, and confirm U.S. state of residence; (d) complete the timed quiz — 10 multiple-choice questions within a single 60-second time limit. One entry per person per contest. Multiple entries by the same person will be disqualified. This includes entries submitted under different email addresses, under aliases or variations of the same email address, or under different names, where they are made by the same individual.
4. How a winner is determined (skill-based)
Determined entirely by skill. KLAVO ranks eligible entries by (a) number of correct answers, highest first, then (b) completion time, fastest first, as tiebreaker. The single top-ranked entry wins. No chance at any stage.
Correct answers are not shown at any point while the contest is running, including on the results screen after you finish. The full answer key is published after the contest closes and the winner has been confirmed, together with the winning score and completion time.
5. Prize
Each contest's prize is described on the current-contest page at entry. Prizes are physical goods (LEGO sets in the Preview Period). ARV disclosed at entry. Non-transferable, no cash equivalent unless stated. Insured shipment to a U.S. address in an eligible state.
6. Winner notification and claim
Winner notified by email within 48 hours of close. Winner must (a) confirm shipping address within 5 business days and (b) execute a Winner's Affidavit. No response in the window means the next-highest-ranked entry may be designated winner.
7. Privacy and data use
KLAVO collects name, email, and U.S. state of residence at entry. See Privacy Policy. No payment information collected during the Preview Period.
8. Public announcement of winners
Winner identity (first name and state only) may be announced on KLAVO social media. Full-name/photo use by separate written consent; opt-out available.
9. Tax obligations
Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on prizes. KLAVO complies with all IRS prize-reporting obligations as required by law, including issuance of any required tax forms. KLAVO does not provide tax advice; consult a professional.
10. Dispute resolution and governing law
Governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming. Disputes resolved by binding individual arbitration, except where prohibited. Class actions and consolidated proceedings waived to the extent permitted.
11. Modifications and termination
KLAVO may modify, suspend, or terminate any contest at any time, with notice where practical. Updated final-form Rules published before the Preview Period ends and before any paid contest opens.
